The Texas Rangers' game was cancelled tonight!
Is that a big deal!
In Texas it IS a big deal!
What is a "BIGGER DEAL" in Texas tonight is
IT'S RAINING!
And, it has been raining from last night into today!
It is very difficult to describe what today has been like!
Clouds have covered our blue skies all day!
I had to close the windows,
not because it was too hot,
but because it was raining inside!
I did not listen to radio or tv
because I wanted to listen to the rain!
Quincy and Cody are laying here at my feet.
That is not so unusual,
but what is UNusual is that they are NOT panting!!!
Those are some of the temps from our RED HOT SUMMER -
over 70 days of OVER 100 degrees!
